Morton O'Reilly's review of JAS
I've used JAS for three years. What really tanked things for me was their SmartHub tracking - the location pings were often hours behind and status updates would flip from "in transit" to "delivered" with no intermediate exceptions. Because of that lag, drivers were dispatched to the wrong docks, customers were billed detention fees, and I - managing a 20-truck fleet in the Northeast - spent half a day on hold trying to trace a single container. Support either pushed a generic "we're escalating" email or told me to refresh the portal; integrating SmartHub with our TMS felt like forcing a square peg through a round hole. I wanted the visibility to cut down calls and save time, but instead it cost us money and headaches - I won't use their digital tracking for critical loads again until reliability improves.
