Last month we had a last-minute refrigerated load from Boston to Philadelphia and RyderShare popped up a rate that beat my usual broker by a couple hundred bucks, so I hit book before my dispatcher could overthink it. That instant price visibility is the single thing that made me happiest - seeing the comparison in real time stopped me from throwing money at a lane I usually accept at face value. We run 50 trucks in the Northeast and after 18 years I watch margins like a hawk, so those small savings add up quick. It's not flawless - there's a fee structure and the carrier pool can be thin on some lanes - but for price-conscious spot work it has already paid for itself on multiple runs. Four stars: worth the cost if your priority is cutting freight spend, just don't expect miracles every time.
