Last Thursday a live shipment registered as "delivered" on the dashboard while the driver was still ten miles out - the geofence had triggered prematurely. The real-time ETA/geofencing capability is the most notable feature: when accurate it allowed dispatch to notify customers proactively and reassign trailers without digging through multiple systems. Our operation manages 250 trucks across the Southwest, and after fifteen years in the business I find this visibility both valuable and frustrating because intermittent false triggers and timestamp lag force redundant calls and manual checks, so we cannot rely on it exclusively.
