Getting started was a mess - their CSV import mangled columns, the mapping UI is wonky and suppport took two days to respond so I had to re-enter 150 loads by hand and missed a paid run that cost me a full day's revenue. Frustating and clunky, saved the receipts for taxes but won't be sticking around after this cleanup.
Bottom line: for the money Transport Pro felt like a middling buy - helpful for cleaning up invoicing but not worth the ongoing fees. My 15-truck fleet saw faster billing cycles, but the subscripton cost and a couple of hidden per-user charges ate into margins; it's useful, yet the ROI is stubbornly slow and I'm still on the fence. If your needs are very basic and you can tolerate a few quirks, it can work, otherwise the price makes me hesitate.
The Transport Pro mobile app finally stopped my drivers from calling me every hour. That photo-POD and signature capture that auto-syncs when a truck gets signal is the one thing that actually made my life easier - we stop waiting on receipts, invoice the load same day, and my bookkeeper is happy. I run three trucks out of the Midwest and after 22 years on the road I’m picky about phone apps, but this one’s straightforward enough my oldest driver learned it in an afternoon. Not flashy, just reliable on the go.
