I've used TruckingOffice for about a year. Before that I was juggling Excel sheets and a shoebox of reciepts, sending invoices by hand - this automated invoicing cut my billing time from a whole afternoon to like 15 minutes, no joke. The mobile app gets slow sometimes but that invoicing and payment tracking fixed my cashflow headaches and made end-of-week paperwork actually tolerable, hehe.
Didn't expect to have invoices going out by lunchtime with TruckingOffice - the CSV truck/load import and editable invoice templates got me billing without a headache. I run three trucks in the PNW, 25 years on the road, and that fast start was a pleasant surprise.
Bottom line: it usually gets the job done, but don’t count on it in a pinch. After six years driving around the Midwest as a company-driver, I depend on the dispatch board and invoicing to work instantly - and TruckingOffice is flaky: invoices have failed to send and the dispatch screen has frozen at the worst times. I’m torn because when it behaves it saves hours, but the occasional downtime and slow fixes mean I still run a paper backup.
