...and then at 2 a.m. the Dossier app timed out for almost 40 minutes during a route change, which is exactly when you need it to hold up. We run 25 trucks in the Midwest and that outage dropped live locations and maintenance alerts - drivers sat idle while dispatchers had to call everyone by hand. One of those idle trucks had a pending engine fault that never synced over; we ended up with a tow, missed loads, and roughly $1,100 in direct costs. Support finally replied with “we're investigating” after hours, but their workaround was temporary and the same sync lag returned the following week. If reliability at crunch time matters to you, this platform frustrated us more than it helped.
