Bottom line: the mobile app helps me keep tabs but more often frustrates than dazzles. It can be genuinely helpful - the predictive ETAs have nudged us ahead of a delay - but I run 40 trucks across the Midwest and too many push alerts arrive after the truck's already at the dock. Maps lag on older phones, GPS drifts on long flat stretches, and leaving the app open all day sucks the battery down faster than I'd like. When the prediction hits it's a real time-saver, which makes the misses sting even more. Mixed feelings: I'll keep it in the stack, just don't treat it as the single source of truth on tight pickups.
Liked the live ETA pings - they actually saved me two hours when a reefer ghosted and I needed to find it quick. But their predictive ETA guessed we'd be on time and then flipped 45 mins later, my customer got nasty and I ate a detention fee; support took forever to respond so the automated actions didnt help. Torn about it: when the map and pings are right it's a lifesaver for a one-man outfit in the PNW, but when the AI blows a call it feels like false confidence - kinda stuck between trusting it and doublechecking everything, ugh.
