Estel Bode's review of Glympse App

Solid tracking experience on mobile. We used it for a quick handoff and I liked seeing the location update without having to log into anything complicated. The temporary sharing window made me more comfortable with privacy. It ran fine on my Android, though the first time I had to double check my phone settings before it would share correctly. After that, it was easy to repeat when needed.

Decent idea, but I found it confusing. I was able to share my location for a short period, which is useful. However, the steps to start and stop sharing were not obvious to me, and I worried I might leave it on by mistake.

Really slick for temporary location sharing. I like that I can send a link for a limited window and not worry about it staying on forever. The updates feel close to real time when I check it on my phone. Setup was straightforward for me, with the usual phone permission prompts. My only nit is I had to remind a driver to keep the app open for the most consistent updates.
