The ETA showed green, then three hours later two drivers were sitting in a closed distribution center with no reason. Infios had stitched together our warehouse and transport feeds, and it was trying to be smart - an order update in the WMS never propagated to the transport plan and the engine quietly re-routed trucks into the wrong bay. I have 40 trucks and 20 years of fighting with logistics software; we hit a wall because the manual override is buried and it took 45 minutes to execute while dispatch and drivers traded phone calls. The event logs were detailed enough to show exactly when the feed failed, and after that we patched a mapping glitch so the real fix was faster than with our old stack. I'm torn: the single execution engine does give visibility you didn't have before, but when it missteps you need faster, simpler ways to stop the cascade.
