Bottom line: customer support is awful - their “help” cost me a delivery and a $500 detention fee. Been hauling around the Northeast for nine years, and when the app froze and wouldn't assign a dispatcher the chat bot spat canned replies, a rep promised a callback that never happened, and we missed the pickup window. Nobody took ownership, I lost time and money, and having to untangle the mess myself was the worst part.

Bottom line: getting Ninja Dispatch set up was faster than I expected, but not completely painless - plan for a few hours of field matching. The one thing that made me genuinely happy was the CSV import with custom field mapping; I pulled in our old load file and matched driver IDs and pay fields exactly, which probably saved two full days of manual entry. Their knowledge base is useful and the live chat answered a weird mapping glitch at 10 p.m., so support wasn’t radio silence - still, some workflow labels are oddly named and required trial-and-error. With 16 years in freight and an 85-truck operation in the Pacific Northwest, I appreciated that the main dispatch board didn’t force us to change how we run loads. If your data is messy, expect to clean it first, but once that’s done the platform really speeds up day-to-day coordination.
