Jennie Crona's review of TheFreeTMS
Forty trucks and twenty years on Midwest roads taught me to trust a good alert more than glossy sales pitches. Last winter one of our drivers called in about smoke coming from an engine two hours from the nearest shop; Teletrac Navman's maintenance reminder had flagged rising turbo hours the night before, so we pulled him off the run, sent a spare, and avoided a tow. That single timely reminder saved us a full day of downtime and a tow bill that would have been painful. The alert pushed to both my dashboard and the driver's phone, and setting the threshold was simple enough that our shop could tune it to the kinds of trucks we run. GPS still jitters under heavy tree cover, but for preventing that breakdown it paid for itself in one cold night.
