Moshe Frami's review of Truckbase
Two nights ago during a sudden blizzard truck 87 lost cell contact for about 20 minutes; Teletrac Navman kept sending buffered GPS points and then resumed a live trace as soon as coverage returned, which let us dispatch help quickly. What truly made me happy was that the device didn’t stop working when the map went gray - those intermittent breadcrumbs were enough to narrow down a likely location. I’ve been in this business 25 years, managing a 120-truck fleet in the Midwest, and reliability like that is rare. The dashboard can lag occasionally during peak use, but that’s a minor gripe compared with being able to find a driver in a storm.
