Emory Rolfson's review of Verizon Connect

What I like most is the mobile app’s live GPS - it’s dependable on narrow mountain roads where cell coverage is patchy. That said, the app is maddeningly slow to refresh when switching between vehicles, and the UI buries the quick actions I need every morning. I appreciate the alerts for harsh braking, but they’re either too sensitive or arrive late; drivers complain about false positives while the maintenance reminders sometimes show up after the truck's already in the shop. If Verizon Connect trimmed a few taps and sped up load times, it could actually shave minutes off dispatch mornings. On our 85-truck operation in the Pacific Northwest the delays add up; I keep using it because the tracking is reliable, but mornings feel unnecessarily long.
