During a holiday rush last December one delivery vanished from the dashboard for 45 minutes and customers flooded our dispatch line. Compared with our old in-house tracking system, Bringg’s live tracking and customer-facing alerts did reduce routine status calls and made ETAs easier to share, but those benefits were undermined by occasional location freezes and a fair bit of custom integration work to match our routing rules. Managing 55 trucks across the Southeast with twelve years in fleet operations, I found myself genuinely torn - visibility improved in many day-to-day cases, yet the instability and engineering overhead mean it isn’t an outright replacement for what we had.
