Tracker went silent for eight hours during a 700-mile run - by the time it finally reported back, a pallet of fresh salmon had been outside safe temps for four hours. I run a single truck in the Pacific Northwest and have been at this two years; the dashboard never showed the temp excursion in real time and the supposed “instant” alert didn’t hit my phone until the receiver refused the load. Cost me about $1,200 and a client - not worth the stress when you're moving high-value freight.
