Fifteen years in logistics and oversight of roughly 250 trucks across the Southwest have given me a clear sense of what tracking systems need to deliver. OnAsset's dashboard produced timely condition alerts on several temperature-sensitive loads and once allowed us to intercept a failing shipment, but GPS coverage and device battery performance were inconsistent on rural legs, producing hours-long blind spots. The mixed reliability and occasionally slow support response leave me genuinely torn - it's invaluable when it works, and frustrating when it doesn't.
