Bottom line: Motive Fleet improved our live tracking and compliance visibility compared with our prior GPS-only system, but its AI safety alerts produced too many false positives and strained driver trust. After a year managing ten trucks on the West Coast, I value the clearer trip detail for dispatching, yet the weekly reports need significant manual cleanup and the camera alerts often come at odd moments. Support fixes issues eventually, but not quickly enough when we're on the road, so I'm genuinely torn about keeping it long-term.
