Nestor Stiedemann's review of Tive
…Tive looked promising on paper, but in day-to-day use it fell short of the simple GSM solution we had before - their ETA updates were often delayed and the temperature alerts were noisy. We reacted to a handful of false cold-chain alarms, rerouted a truck unnecessarily and still missed an actual temperature spike that ruined two pallets and triggered about $1,200 in detention and disposal costs. Frankly, for a fleet of ten trucks on the West Coast, the downgrade in reliability wasn't worth the extra subscription cost.
