Mae Kris's review of Blume Global
Managing a fleet of 150 trucks across the Northeast for nearly three decades, I turned to Blume Global hoping for clearer visibility during peak holiday surges. On some runs it delivered - an ETA adjustment flagged a carrier delay and we rerouted a load before it snowballed, saving a day and a very unhappy consignee. But that reliability is inconsistent: overnight GPS pings from several smaller carriers would vanish for hours, and predictive ETAs drifted by multiple hours once congestion set in. Their alerts are useful when they actually fire, yet too many late or false exceptions had dispatchers calling carriers in the middle of the night more than trusting the dashboard. Three stars because it’s a good planning aid, but I wouldn’t rely on it alone for tight delivery windows.
