Dispatcher handling 25 trucks across the Midwest for six years - the Infor Nexus mobile app consolidates carrier scans so I can reroute or reassign quickly, but the push alerts are hit-or-miss and the map often won’t refresh on spotty LTE. When the notifications come through it saves me time; when they don’t I end up chasing drivers and calls, which is why I’m torn at three stars.

Last fall when a late berth reroute would’ve stranded my driver for two days, Nexus pinged an ETA change and we rerouted - saved roughly $900 in detention and extra miles. The subscription isn’t cheap for a two-truck outfit, but that one alert paid for the year, so worth it for us.

Bottom line: Infor Nexus gives much clearer, actually usable ETA updates than the clunky TMS we ran before. After twenty years of driving out of the Midwest and chasing carrier emails, the single dashboard that pulls milestone updates and fires one clear alert when a pickup slips is what made me happiest - fewer surprise holds at the dock and way fewer status calls.
