The live-tracking and dynamic ETA feature is the standout - brilliant in town, frustrating in the sticks. When cell coverage is good, OmniPoint’s minute-by-minute ETA adjustments and map view let us reroute loads and shave real time off deliveries. But here in the Midwest, with 40 trucks and a lot of rural runs, GPS pings go dark for long stretches and the platform sometimes locks in stale ETAs that kick off unnecessary exception workflows and customer alerts. I appreciate the visibility when it’s accurate; honestly it feels like night-and-day on city routes. Still, until those rural-edge gaps are handled, it’s a tool that helps and hurts in equal measure.
