Last Thursday our dock called because a high-priority refrigerated load vanished from MacroPoint - ETAs and pings gone, just a blank status. I opened a support ticket and sat on hold for nearly forty minutes, then got shuffled between three reps before someone admitted the carrier had changed their feed format - not great when you run 25 trucks across the Midwest. Once it reached the account manager things moved fast: they pushed a config fix and the feed resumed, which probably saved us a detention charge. Still, that escalation took almost a day and the inconsistency is the real problem; some tickets get treated like that while others linger for days with canned replies. I appreciate that specific reps will dig in and fix things, but the hit-or-miss support makes me reluctant to rely on MacroPoint for time-sensitive moves.
