The morning our first live load went out, Pando flagged the pickup but the carrier rates disappeared and the driver didn’t get an assignment until noon. Getting started meant pulling years of rate confirmations into a spreadsheet and cleaning them up before the platform would accept our formats; the TMS integration needed custom field mapping and two support calls to stabilize. I run a 40-truck fleet in the Midwest and after twenty years I can smell when a system is trying to be both simple and flexible - this one leans toward flexibility at the cost of patience. Once configured the real-time tracking and ETA updates did cut down on frantic phone calls. Still, the setup friction makes me hesitant to roll it out full bore across more lanes; useful, but not effortless.
