Eino Hirthe's review of Everstream Analytics

Bottom line: Everstream's support team is what makes this platform worth four stars for us. A few months ago we had a supplier failure smack in the middle of a holiday window and their rep stayed on a six-hour troubleshooting call with our team overnight, tuning alert thresholds and walking us through temporary routing workarounds - that single effort probably saved us days of blind guessing. I'm admin-staff for a 100-truck operation in the Pacific Northwest with seven years in this job, and I appreciated how they recorded the session and sent step-by-step notes the next morning so we could replicate the fixes. The only reason I didn't give five is that the dashboard still feels clunky when pulling custom reports, but the human side of support has been consistently reliable.

Forty trucks under my watch across the Midwest and 18 years dispatching have taught me to value one thing above all: timely weather intel - Everstream’s predictive weather alerts nailed a hard freeze two days ahead and sent shipment-level warnings so I could reroute loads before drivers hit the slick spots. It throws a few false alarms now and then, but avoiding that one overnight hold made it worth the 4/5.

I liked how fast Everstream pushed the initial weather alert, but that's also what left me frustrated. Two weeks ago a nor'easter was forecast and Everstream flagged a coastal supplier's shipments - so we diverted two trucks off I-95; running a 20-truck fleet in the Northeast with three years managing routes, that kind of heads-up can save days. Still, three days later the supplier’s warehouse had a mechanical shutdown and Everstream's risk score stayed low while we sat idle, no local note came through and we ate driver hours and client penalties. The timeline and alerts make it easy to trace what happened, yet that low-risk reassurance created a weird trust gap. Mixed feelings: it has saved us before, but don't lean on the score alone - call the supplier.

Used it for six months. We switched from old spreadsheets and my dispatcher's gut - I'm a West Coast owner-operator with two trucks and 30 years on the road - and Everstream's alerts were slower and often wrong, missing a port closure that cost us a three-day delay, $1,800 in detention, and a lost customer; I'd have been better off with the spreadsheet.
