Morton O'Reilly's review of LAX Freight
Last summer a cross-border reefer shipment missed its flight and sat on the tarmac for eight hours. With our old 3PL that situation would have been a black hole - no updates, frantic calls, and spoiled product the next morning. LAX Freight's live tracking with real-time timestamps and direct TMS access let us pinpoint the hold-up, rebook a truck within the hour, and avoid a costly spoilage claim. For our twenty-truck fleet in the Northeast that kind of visibility matters more than low rates; their vetted carriers meant the replacement dray was certified and bonded, which actually calmed the operations team. Price is a touch higher and there was one annoying carrier swap that added an extra handoff, so I docked a star but after three years with them, I prefer their transparency to the radio silence we used to suffer.
