I've used Verst Logistics for seven years. Last spring a seasonal load of refrigerated snacks was mispicked at their Walton warehouse and missed the retailer's promo window - we ended up paying for temporary shelf space and extra field reps while the buyer fumed. They did jump on it: their ops team called within an hour, rerouted product, and had most of the pallets moving the next morning, which actually saved a chunk of the campaign. But the paperwork and claims were a nightmare; the credit took three months, invoices didn't match, and our admin team (we run about 100 trucks across the Pacific Northwest) spent dozens of hours chasing forms. I'm torn: they can move freight fast when it matters, but the slow, sloppy back-office work makes me hesitant to put more critical promotions in their hands.
