Larissa Lemke's review of Verst Logistics
...their tracking portal is the thing I can't stop thinking about. On good days it gives clean, live GPS, realistic ETAs and handy geofence alerts that cut down on frantic calls - actually saved us time getting drivers unloaded. But twice this quarter the status showed a load delivered when it was still sitting on a dock, and that mismatch created double-checks and a billing headache that ate up an afternoon. After 18 years running a 50-truck operation around the Northeast, I can tell when a system is trying to be slick but slips on the basics. I'm torn: the visibility is genuinely useful, yet I wouldn't trust it without manual verification, which kind of defeats part of the purpose.
