Bottom line: their mobile app cuts down my back-and-forth calls and actually keeps loads moving. Dispatching 50 trucks around the Southeast for the last 12 years, the live ETA pushes and one-touch photo POD upload are the things that made me happiest - drivers snap, upload, and I can clear a delivery or reassign a load without digging through paperwork. Huge time saver, and it still works when the signal gets spotty.
Owner-operator here, 7 years running routes in the Northeast. Alliance's "real-time" tracking is the worst - on a recent reefer run the app showed my trailer at the DC for hours while I was still two exits away, which cost me a $350 detention fee and a missed delivery window. Support sent canned responses, no ownership, and i spent the next day on hold dealing with angry calls; not worth the headache.
Bottom line: not worth the money. Their quote looked fine until surprise accessorials and a phantom fuel surcharge turned a decent lane into a loss - I operate three trucks on West Coast runs and this bled $300–400 from my margin per load.
