Eino Hirthe's review of Odyssey Logistics
Last March a 12,000-gallon chemical load bound for a Spokane facility missed three scheduled pick-ups and sat at the Tacoma terminal for 48 hours. Their portal kept flipping the status to “in transit” while calls to the operations desk went unanswered or funneled me to voicemail. That no-show and the fuzzy tracking forced us to divert product at the last minute, incur $6,200 in expedited freight and cost the customer a half-day of production. Seven years working Pacific Northwest freight taught me when a carrier is reliable; Odyssey’s promised updates never arrived and their local reps couldn’t give a concrete ETA. Unacceptable - we’re moving that lane elsewhere despite their competitive rates.
