Last Tuesday they re-routed a hazmat load to a different yard at the last minute and left us sitting two hours before anyone gave the driver a solid plan. Compared to the small regional brokers I've run with in my 22 years running three Midwest trucks, Odyssey's tracking is actually better, but the extra paperwork and slower pay cycles feel like trading speed for a headache. I'm torn - the visibility helped when that re-route finally got sorted, yet the billing and back-and-forth make it hard to commit more of my fleet to them.
