I've been managing an 85-truck fleet in the Pacific Northwest for 16 years, and the thing that made me stick with Ascent was their PEAK platform's live ETA recalculation and predictive delay alerts. We had a mission-critical aerospace spindle that couldn't miss a two-hour window - PEAK flagged an I-5 slowdown an hour before our usual feeds, pushed a reroute suggestion with an updated ETA and the reason code. I diverted a truck into an alternate corridor and we landed the delivery on time. What impressed me wasn't the flashy map but the granular timestamps and the clear 'why' behind each change; it gave my dispatcher the confidence to act instead of waiting. Five stars from my shop - saved us a contract penalty and a lot of gray hairs.
