Bottom line: PEAK's predictive ETA and exception alerts are the one feature that convinced us Ascent was worth using - it cut the time my dispatchers spend chasing loads. Their ETA updates adjusted in real time when a driver hit traffic or detention, and the confidence score was usually within a tight window, so we stopped firefighting so much on late shipments. After 28 years running roughly 150 trucks in the Northeast, I can say having accurate live visibility and timely push alerts changes dispatch priorities in the best way. The mobile interface can be clumsy on older phones and I wish carrier notes were easier to add, but those are small gripes compared with fewer missed windows. For anyone hauling time-sensitive freight, PEAK made our days less hectic.
