Last winter my trailer axle snapped outside Spokane and my load was stranded on the shoulder until an ArcBest dispatcher called saying they'd reroute a pickup and had a driver there in under two hours. Out here in the Pacific Northwest, that kind of “someone actually calls and fixes it” energy is rare - they put the freight back on schedule and handled the billing without the usual paper chase. They paid me fast too, which turned a rough night into nothing more than a story.
