I've used FedEx Logistics for seven years. It isn't the cheapest option out there, but for the most part the price has been worth it. With a 50-truck fleet in the Northeast and nearly 18 years in the business, predictability in monthly costs mattered more than the lowest spot rate. What really made me happy was the itemized monthly invoice - duties, brokerage and freight were separated clearly, so our accountant stopped chasing mysterious charges. Customer service can be slow on exceptions, but the steady lanes and volume pricing translated into dependable savings for us.

...that predictable landed-cost quote was worth every penny. After 12 years of chasing surprise brokerage fees for a southeastern fleet of about 50 trucks, having one clear customs charge from FedEx Logistics meant fewer headaches and no unexpected hold-ups at the border. They might charge a touch more up front than random brokers, but paying a little extra to avoid late fees and paperwork nightmares made it totally worth it.

Loved that FedEx Logistics pulled an impossible cross-border pallet through customs at midnight and saved a retail launch. But the invoice nightmare after - three different adjustments in a week, voicemail purgatory, and my dispatch desk (I run 25 trucks out of the Midwest with six years in the seat) had to redo schedules because no one could give a straight answer.

…the FedEx Logistics app's photo-POD upload is crazy fast - snap, attach, send and the stop's closed in under 30 seconds, saved me reall time. After 18 years on the road in the Southeast I ditched the extra tablet; routing and POD flow keep me movin even when signal's spotty, map has a tiny blip sometimes but still solid.
