Used Capstone for six years and lately their customer support has been a daily headache. Had a damaged-pallet claim last month - it took five days to get a real person, paperwork went missing, and I ended up eating detention charges that cost me nearly two days' pay. Calling in is a loop of hold music and scripts; nobody takes ownership, so small issues turn into lost time and money.

After 16 years dealing with patchy 3PL partners across the Pacific Northwest, we moved Capstone onto our account to handle final-mile routes. My fleet of 85 trucks was constantly getting fuzzy ETAs and drivers stuck waiting; Capstone’s driver ETA texts actually matched reality more often than not. The real-time ETA updates - accurate to within about 15 minutes on most runs - are the single thing that made me happy. That accuracy cut idle time at customer docks and made life a lot easier for our dispatchers. Not perfect - billing quirks and the occasional broker shuffle still show up - but compared to who we ran with before, the day-to-day stress is way down.

The app loads fast and makes scanning paperwork painless, but its GPS and ETA updates are maddeningly inconsistent.
