Emory Rolfson's review of DB Schenker
After 16 years managing a fleet of 85 trucks in the Pacific Northwest, I brought DB Schenker in to handle overflow e-commerce fulfillment and a couple of cross-border lanes. Getting started was smoother than I expected because the onboarding specialist actually mapped our EDI/API feeds to our TMS and stayed on weekly calls until test orders cleared customs. There was a billing-code scramble that ate a week, but once the visibility portal showed door-to-door ETAs we stopped sending three drivers to the same pickup - that alone paid off. Two weeks from kick-off we had live inventory moving through their warehouse and could track pallets without constant phone tag. I’m keeping them on for recurring freight mainly because the hands-on tech integration finally let me stop babysitting shipments.
