Freddy Kassulke-Boyle's review of Landstar
I've used Landstar for about five years. After thirty years managing a two-hundred truck operation in the Southwest, I’m genuinely torn: Landstar’s agent network gets us coverage when markets tighten, but compared with the national carrier we ran for many years the predictability of pick-up and delivery windows is noticeably worse. Their tracking platform gives quick visibility, yet it doesn’t match the constant in‑cab telematics and driver discipline we had with company trucks, so you trade flexibility for a less steady cadence my shippers expect.
