...when timelines got real and a weekend load came up, NFI was hit-or-miss. Their portal gives solid tracking and on two occasions the ETA was spot-on and the driver showed up early, which saved us headaches. Other times the pickup sat for hours with no useful update beyond "in transit" until I called; that kind of radio silence in the middle of quarter-end is frustrating. We run 25 trucks out of the Midwest, so consistency matters - over four years I've been tempted to lean on them for certain lanes but I always keep a backup. Three stars because when it works it's straightforward and reliable, but the unpredictability on busy days means I can't trust them for every mission-critical move.
