Adella Labadie's review of Schneider Logistics
Four years managing a 25-truck fleet in the Midwest taught me to spot pricing smoke and mirrors - Schneider Logistics didn't pass the sniff test. Their base rates looked okay at first glance, but accessorials, detention, and fuel surcharges piled on until our per-haul cost jumped about 18% and cost me roughly $1,200 extra on a single week of runs. That hit translated straight to margin loss on our retail lanes; for a small operation that kind of bleed forces ugly trade-offs. The tracking and planning tools were usable, but they didn’t justify paying significantly more. Not worth the bill unless they fix pricing transparency - right now I feel nickeled and dimed.
