Bottom line: Uber Freight secured replacement capacity within forty minutes when a tractor blew a turbo on I‑10, keeping a promised grocery delivery on schedule. What really stood out was the firm, up-front price and live ETAs - the carrier showed on the map, the pick‑up occurred when the app said it would, and we avoided a six-figure retail chargeback. After 30 years in the field running a 200-truck fleet in the Southwest, I still expect bumps, but that one response convinced me this service deserves a regular spot in our contingency plans.

Bottom line: Uber Freight got me back on the road the same day. A booked pickup cancelled and within 25 minutes their app had another load lined up with accurate ETA updates - saved my two-truck operation in the Southeast from a wasted day and that quick reload is what mattered.

I appreciated the live map and timestamped check-ins in the mobile app - those two features cut the morning scramble. It isn't flawless; route suggestions sometimes reassign lanes and force extra taps, but the clear pickup status and driver notes save me real time every day. With 15 trucks to manage in the Southeast, the push alerts keep dispatch from calling every ten minutes, even if push notifcations occasionally lag.

Owner-operator with three trucks in the Southwest - paid for 'fast' loads on Uber Freight and after their fees and slow payouts my net was barely above break-even, not worth it. Hiddden fees and awful rates cost me about 25% of margin and a week of cashflow, total ripoff, won't use again.
