All 20 reviews →Last Thursday a refrigerated load went radio-silent for three hours and I couldn’t get the driver; TQL TRAX pinged the trailer, showed location and temperature updates in real time, and we rerouted before the goods warmed up - saved the customer a ton of headache. Their live tracking is the one feature that actually matters for my 80 trucks on the West Coast.
Bottom line: TQL's customer support actually moves the needle - reps pick up and stay on an issue until it's fixed. I run 15 trucks in the Southwest and one rep's hustle on a late Phoenix pickup (called the carrier, updated TRAX, and got detention approved) turned a potential four-hour sit into about an hour, which saved me a real headache.
Midwest fleet manager here - 120 trucks, 25 years in the game. TQL hooked us up plenty of times when we were tight on capacity, pulling through on short-lead runs that otherwise would have stranded loads. But when things go south - carrier no-shows or last-minute reroutes - their response can be maddeningly slow and TRAX's ETA updates sometimes lag or flip without explanation. It's a mixed bag: they save our bacon often, yet each failure costs hours and dents driver morale. If you need occasional rescue capacity and can tolerate a few headaches, they're worth keeping on speed dial; if you want near-perfect predictability every day, look elsewhere.
