After 16 years managing an 85-truck fleet in the Pacific Northwest, I rely on apps that don't get in the way. Expeditors' mobile app won me over with one thing: push ETA alerts that update the second a shipment clears customs or switches status - those pings let me reshuffle drivers before anyone realizes there's a problem. Last month a container flipped to "held" at the border and the timestamped alert let me pull two loads off that route, saving us a long deadhead. The interface can feel cluttered on tablets and the map sometimes lags when roaming, so it's not perfect. Four stars: the single feature I care about works so well it makes the rest forgivable.
