Bottom line: Expeditors gave solid value - I'd rate them 4/5 for what we paid. What made me happy was the transparent customs fee breakdown; no surprise port charges that used to blindside us. In my 28 years managing a 150-truck fleet in the Northeast, unexpected fees are the real margin killer, and their single-point customs contact kept demurrage from becoming a headache on two big runs. They aren't the cheapest option, but the visibility tools and proactive alerts cut down emergency reroutes and extra phone time, which paid for itself quickly. If predictable billing matters to you more than rock-bottom rates, they’re worth a close look.
