Bottom line: pricey up front but worth it if you care about cutting freight costs - it paid for itself in about three months. I'm an owner-operator in the Southwest and the rate-shopping/carrier selection is the one thing that made me happy, saved me a few hundred bucks a month and that covers the fee, no joke. UI gets laggy now and then but the savings keep me using it, def worth the spend imo.
What sold me was their support - our account rep stayed on a three-hour call until a carrier API issue was sorted and drivers could see dispatch updates. I've been dispatching in the Southeast for 12 years with about 50 trucks, and hardly any vendor actually sticks with the problem like that instead of passing it around. That persistence is why the TMS stays in our toolkit; the software does its job, but the people made it work when it mattered.
What stood out most was its rock-solid reliability during peak operations - tracking never dropped and ETAs updated consistently. With a 55-truck fleet in the Southeast, that translated into real-world savings when a late carrier cancellation hit: Kaleris reassigned loads and pushed updated routes to drivers in under ten minutes. Downtime over a year of use was effectively zero, which made planning and execution predictable.
Bottom line: Kaleris TMS delivers practical planning and tracking, but the price tag makes its value questionable. For my 15-truck operation in the Southeast with five years of fleet management experience, the route optimization and real-time execution tracking did reduce manual scheduling and carrier calls, yet licensing, onboarding fees and integartions with yard/terminal systems pushed the total cost well past what we budgeted and the projected savings didn't crystalize in year one. I'm torn - useful features, but too expencive for this scale.
