Last month, late on a Friday after a supplier held a pallet, I needed a last-minute LTL carrier that could guarantee delivery Monday - panic mode. The rate-shop pulled live quotes and, more importantly, showed transit days and common accessorials inline so I could compare true landed cost instead of guessing. It shaved at least an hour off what used to be a phone-and-email scramble; I tendered in ten minutes and avoided sending one of our trucks empty for repositioning. The one gripe: adding non-standard accessorials is clunky and the form resets too easily, which almost cost me an incorrect quote acceptance. Still, for quick lane-by-lane rate visibility it’s a real time-saver for a mid-sized fleet like ours in the Pacific Northwest.
