Eino Hirthe's review of Freightview
Last Friday, with a last-minute reroute to Tacoma and a driver waiting at the dock, I opened Freightview and the rate compare screen pulled three real-time quotes that let me commit in minutes. What really stood out was the way accessorial charges and ETA windows are displayed side-by-side - no more guessing if fuel surcharges or a reclass would blow the price up. On the admin side of our hundred-truck operation in the Pacific Northwest that visibility cut a ton of back-and-forth calls with carriers and sped up approvals. My only gripe is that every so often a carrier's transit time doesn't refresh quickly and I have to re-poll rates, which bit me once on a tight deadline. Still, for those scramble moments where speed and clear cost detail matter, this is the first place I check.
