Bottom line: getting started with Cargo Chief was a painful time sink that wound up costing us real freight. Their signup and TMS integration promised to be quick, but the API handoff kept failing and my IT guy spent three afternoons chasing token errors while carrier matches never populated - we lost two weekend loads because of it. Support replies were slow and generic, the kind that tells you to clear your cache while brokers around us booked trucks. I run 25 trucks in the Midwest and the missed hauls plus extra deadhead added roughly $1,200 to our week's costs, which stings on a small fleet. If you expect to be up and running fast, plan for delays and extra labor - this was not the smooth onboarding they advertise.
