I've used it for about three years and the mobile app is what keeps me on DAT Broker TMS day to day. The single feature that actually made me happy was the push alerts for pickup and delivery - they hit my phone almost instantly so I can reassign loads or call carriers before things snowball, which on busy afternoons is a lifesaver. The app still hiccups when uploading BOLs and sometimes gives a "recieving error" that needs a restart, but for status updates and quick communication it does the job.

Bottom line: it mostly works, but when it glitches it can cripple a day's moves. I dispatch 15 trucks across the Southwest and after ten years the TMS's intermittent sync failures and slow carrier status updates have cost us pickups - support responds but not always quickly enough to stop the domino effect.

I have used DAT Broker TMS for about two years. Managing a 200‑truck fleet across the Southwest with three decades in the industry, I found the mobile app's single-tap carrier confirmations dramatically reduced phone tag and kept dispatch moving during peak periods. The app still has a few interface quirks that slow things down occasionally, but that one feature alone made my day-to-day significantly easier.
