I've used Tai TMS for about 18 months. The price made me hesitate at first - it's not cheap - but the automated carrier communication (auto-tenders and follow-up messaging) cut our back-and-forth to nearly nothing and that saved real payroll hours. With 75 trucks and eight years in the Pacific Northwest freight scene, software has to pay for itself quickly; Tai did that for us in under six months thanks to fewer missed tenders and faster confirmations. Setup took longer than I hoped and support can be slow during peak times, but the time reclaimed on dispatch tasks has justified the subscription for my operation.

The first time I tried to quote a last-minute FTL the system refused to pull carrier lanes and my afternoon melted into hold music while the dashboard spun - not a great first impression. I'm an owner-operator with two trucks and 14 years on the road, and while the integrations finally smoothed quoting and cut manual work, getting that far was fiddly enough that I'm torn about whether the setup headache is worth it.

Bottom line: Tai TMS found a replacement carrier in under an hour and saved a run after a day-before cancellation. After 30 years and two West Coast trucks, I still expect headaches - the carrier-sourcing feature messaged four integrated carriers, one accepted, the load auto-updated and I avoided detention fees, so that single fix paid for itself.
