Last Thursday during a narrow-band snow squall one of our drivers lost service for nearly two hours, yet he still captured POD photos and signed on the phone - everything uploaded automatically when he hit coverage. That offline photo/signature capture is the single feature that made me happiest; it rescued a delivery that otherwise would have turned into a paperwork nightmare. The mobile app is simple enough that drivers stop calling to ask what button to press, which in a fleet of 85 trucks kept my dispatchers calmer than usual. After 16 years in the business, I appreciate straightforward tools that actually cut down on phone tag. It isn't built for route planning or heavy optimization, but for day-to-day dispatch and proof-of-delivery it's solid and reliable.
